Machine Operator – Hendersonville

Temporary to possible Permanent

1st 8 am – 4 pm/2nd 4 pm -12 am/3rd 12 am -8 am

Overall Description:

Operators main focus is to ensure that the product being produced meets customer requirements as listed on the Production Report by setting up the machine correctly. Team work, multi-tasking, accuracy and a sense of urgency are required daily to ensure orders are produced and packed correctly.

Essential Functions:

Production:

Must review and understand the production paperwork for every order.

Must understand and follow all line clearance and startup procedures.

Ensures that all the paperwork filled out correctly.

Records downtime and production for each shift.

Any other paperwork that may be required.

Set up machine to ensure requirements are met.

Other duties as needed.

Teamwork–work with the associates to ensure product is running correctly throughout the production run.

Communicates with associates appropriately when things aren’t right.

Check package count throughout the shift to ensure correct count.

Check wiper sizes through out the shift to ensure it meets requirements.

Work areas must be cleaned and organized for the next shift.

Quality:

Responsible for the quality of all material run.

Quality checks through out the shift to ensure wipes are meeting requirements.

Safety:

Keep machine/work area clean and organized at all times to prevent accidents.

When machine goes down or waiting for some reason, always clean and organize the work areas.

Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Must consent to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Machine Operators – Swannanoa-NEW PAYRATE

Industrial Machine Operator

All shifts available ** Interview required

1st shift 8 am to 4 pm $14-16 depending on experience
2nd shift 4 pm to 12 am $14.25-16.25 depending on experience
3rd 12 am to 8 am $14.50-16.50 depending on experience

Previous machine operation required – at least one year

Weekend Machine Operator – Hendersonville

Job Description

  • 2 ops: 7am to 7pm
  • 2 ops: 7pm to 7am
  • Rotations (every other week)
  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • must be computer literate
  • change, setup & clean equipment
  • meet production requirements
  • Provide diameter readings
  • Report production weights and enter them in SAP system
  • Operator special tools, wrenches, and cleaning tools
  • Heavy lifting is required
  • Steel toe shoes are required
  • Training: 6 weeks training. However, if not fully staffed they will remain on the shift they were trained on to gain more experience until all positions have been filled. Below are the shifts available to train on.

Criminal Background Checks/Drug Screenings/E-Verify required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
