Blender

We are looking to hire Blenders for a food and beverage manufacturing plant in Mountain Home, NC. Openings available on 2nd and 3rd shift. These are temp to hire position, paying $15.60 per hour. You must have a High School Diploma or GED, forklift experience, basic math skills, and at least 6 months of manufacturing experience. You will be responsible for blending ingredient for batches of juice, and performing quality checks before releasing batches for production. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manufacturing
  • Meet maintenance goals in a manner which facilitates the priorities of the manufacturing schedule.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

To be successful in Maintenance, an individual must possess the following:

AAS degree plus two years multi-skilled experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and controls or 5 years multi-skilled experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and controls preferably in the plastics industry.

Computer PC skills.

Ability to install motors and various drives.

Ability to use electrical instruments such as a volt/ohm meter. Working knowledge of high/low voltage electrical power distribution including understanding of transformer switchgear and its use.

Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers and gauges.

Understanding of complex AC/DC electrical control circuits including the ability to read electrical schematics for all types of machines and ability to wire machines to print.

Understanding of PLC/PC control including the ability to determine machine function through PLC program; ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems within any PLC controlled system; ability to read ladder logic and monitor PLC’s and the ability to read flow logic and monitor PC base systems.

Ability to read pneumatic schematics and to install/modify pneumatic plumbing and valving.

Ability to read hydraulic schematics and to install/modify hydraulic plumbing, accumulators and valving.

Possess an understanding of the importance and significance of producing a quality product in a safe manner.

Possess the ability to communicate well (both written and orally) with all employees in the organization.

Understanding of human interactions.

Dependability (very important that employees be at work on time each scheduled workday).

Integrity.

The potential for growth and learning.

The physical demands include full manual dexterity compatible with work processes in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand for up to 8 hours, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, walk, talk and hear. Occasionally, the employee must lift or move up to 50 pounds and have the physical ability to stand, stoop, crawl, kneel and crouch. Vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, and to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour

Warehouse

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for 1st and 2nd shift warehouse/order picking.  Basic math skills, not afraid of heights, and organized.   1st shift pays $13.50 per hour, 2nd shift pays $14 per hour.  Able to work overtime. Wiring & Manufacturing

1st shift – Pay range would be $12 to $17 per hour depending on experience. Previous work history and electrical experience are most important.

Pull \ Set \ Cycle-in molds for production with start-up approved by Quality Assurance

Perform material handling duties as needed

Inspect product and provide feedback to supervisor and QC to ensure product meets manufacturing and quality standards

Perform start-up and shut-down process

Operate a folk-lift

18 – 24 months plastic molding experience
